A second call for service later in the evening for the Willow Grove Fire Company was Daniel Place when a 200 gallon oil tank was compromised. A leak developed at the base of the tank allowing its contents to flow. Crews quickly placed plastic on the ground to prevent additional Number 2 oil to saturate the ground. Attempts were made to seal the leak but proved useless with the materials and a telephone call placed to the homeowners contracted heating oil company. Once they arrived the leaking tank was pumped off into a second tank until the following morning. Units on location was the Willow Grove Fire Company, Pittsgrove Office of Emergency Management and the Salem County Hazardous Materials Assessment Team representative.
