The month of September is National Preparedness month. We ask everyone to have a lasting legacy and prepare your family to be prepared for a multitude of emergencies that can occur in an instant. National Preparedness Month is an observance each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. It was only a year ago this past week where several families were displaced by a hurricane in neighboring Harrison Township.
The members of the Willow Grove Fire Company ask everyone to get involved in either preparing your home or family for various emergencies, consider joining your local fire company or becoming involved in the office of emergency management.
